Most parents want the very best for their children. However, no matter how hard we try to keep our relationships in order, we can’t always make someone love us and stay in love with us.

In fact, many couples divorce, leaving one parent in full control of all the children. Most of the time, the children will go to the mother, but there are times when the father is more capable of raising the children on his own.

In Thailand, a 32-year-old father named Chatchai Parn-uthai recently went viral after dressing up in a pink dress and wearing a ribbon in his hair to become a ‘mother’ so his children could attend a Mother’s Day event without feeling excluded.

While the rest of the world celebrates Mother’s Day in May, the Thais celebrate it on August 12 to commemorate Her Majesty Queen Sirikit, the Mother of all Thai people.

Chatchai has two children, ages three and five, and he divorced his wife several years ago.

‘I am a single father with two children,’Chatchai explained. ‘I can do anything for my son.’ ‘I don’t want my kids to feel inferior, and I want them to be happy.’

I was not embarrassed to be dressed in women’s clothing. It is because I adore my children. Everything is worthwhile as long as I can see them smile.’

While some people laughed at Chatchai’s’silly’ outfit, many others were impressed that this father overcame his embarrassment to make his children happy. It had to be one of the sweetest things a father could ever do for his child…
