What a nurse did to save the life of an 8-year-old stranger will fascinate and move you at the same time… The incredible story below

Brayden Auten is an 8-year-old high school student from the United States. He was an absolutely healthy and active child, no different from his peers, he studied, played sports, played with his friends, until one day he felt sick.

Brayden’s parents were worried and took their son to a hospital in Milwaukee. After long research, it was found that the boy has an aggressive virus in his body, which simply destroys liver cells.

The doctors did not hide the seriousness of the disease from the parents and advised to start looking for a liver donor as soon as possible, because it is the only way to return the child to a normal life.

‘When we first heard about the transplant, we both almost passed out. We couldn’t even imagine how serious it was,’ says Brayden’s mother, Ruth.

Brayden was getting worse every day and a donor could not be found. Seeing how the boy’s parents were suffering and being killed, intensive care unit nurse Cami Lorenz offered her candidacy as a liver donor. She very sincerely wanted to help this family and their child.

Fortunately, Cami was a perfect match for Brayden as a donor. Part of her liver was transplanted into the child and he soon began to recover.

‘There are no words to express our gratitude to her. She is a selfless person who was not afraid of pain to save our child’s life. Cami is now a member of our immediate family,’ said the boy’s father, James Auten.

Brayden and Cami spent a few more weeks in the hospital before going home.

The boy’s parents were extremely grateful to the nurse for saving their child and invited him to a family photo shoot.
