Young girls and women’s self-esteem has been impacted by beauty standards since antiquity.

Lonni Pike from California attempts to demonstrate to her followers that women of any age can exhibit themselves in whichever manner makes them feel most comfortable.

Lonni has a substantial following on both TikTok and Instagram, with over one million TikTok followers and over 115,000 Instagram followers. She resides in California and has gone viral on famous applications multiple times.

In an interview with Bright Side, Lonni referred to herself as a ‘underdog that everyone (including myself) had written off, but who proved them wrong.’

She continued by saying, ‘This second shot at life is what motivates me to do what I want to do, and it ignites a desire in me to help others find their reset button. To sum up, I would describe my life as great.’

Clearly, Lonni has made it her job online to teach her followers to define their own beauty and not by the standards of others. She stated,

‘If you stop to consider it, why would you want to look like everyone else? “Be brilliant, be courageous, and be yourself, because there is only one of you!’

Lonni has accepted her tattoos and gray hair in all of her public photographs. She explained in the interview that people should view the ‘whole image’ of a person and not just the bits that make up that person’s personality.

‘You realize what? We’re moms, we’re grandmas, we’re students. We are women. She added, ‘We are who we are, and we are simply time stamping ourselves to remember who we are.’
