The ‘Frasier’ and ‘Cheers’ actor Kelsey Grammer experienced a spate of tragedies in his youth, including the deaths of several family members.

But because of his faith, he was able to muster the will to carry on living even though the loss and sadness he had experienced nearly ended his life and left him without any desire to live.

The actor, who is now the father of seven children and the grandfather of one, finds immense satisfaction in his role as a family member.

As her older brother, I was supposed to keep her safe, but I was unable to do so, almost losing my life in the process. I am utterly devastated by my loss of her.

He took comfort in the knowledge that many others go through much worse hardship than he experienced.

He believes that his experience with grieving was exceptionally deep, even though everyone has periods of mourning at some point in their life.

The wounds and agony of losing his sister are still very much present in his thoughts, despite the fact that it took him a while to finally be able to let go of his feelings of guilt.

A short while later, he suffered yet another tragedy when his half-brothers, Billy and Stephen, died in a scuba diving accident.

Billy did not surface after the dive, and when Stephen went back below to look for him, he found Billy dead from an air embolism. Billy’s dead body was never found.

Despite having been raised in a religious household and having a strong faith, Grammer struggled greatly

as a result of all of these losses and eventually lost it and was unable to understand why he should survive.
