When a little blind autistic boy takes the stage, the audience is moved to tears.

When he performed ‘Open The Eyes Of My Heart,’ Christopher Duffley, who was born blind and autistic, moved everyone in New Hampshire’s Concord Center to tears.

He is proof positive that no matter where one starts out in life, anyone can do remarkable things and make a difference in the lives of others.

Without a question, Christopher’s life was not simple. He was discovered to have cocaine and OxyContin in his blood after being delivered very early in 2001.

He was only two pounds, or about the same as a bag of sugar! To make matters worse, he was placed in the foster care system since his parents were unable to care for him.

Fortunately for Christoper and the world, things began to improve when he was two years old. He was located and sent to his aunt and uncle Steve and Christine Duffley’s house.

For the first time in his life, he experienced the affection that every child deserves here.

Christopher’s growth lagged much behind what is typical for a youngster his age due to his autism. When the Duffleys started taking him to music therapy, everything started to change.

They discovered that Christopher could sing wonderfully and had perfect pitch even when he had trouble speaking.

At first, this was merely a means of connecting with their son, but as Christopher grew, he began to show the world his gift.

At school, he gave his first public appearance by singing ‘The Star-Spangled Banner.’ After then, he started performing in other places before singing the national anthem at Fenway Park and NASCAR events. But this performance has moved viewers more than any other.
