But it is much more interesting to see it from the representatives of the British royal family, the other day Kate Middleton brought to life one of the characters of the princess, not again, but again.

Kate’s new rendition of Lady Di’s 1994 archive outfit deals with key outfit elements and their color palette.

Diana’s blue oversized blazer vs Princess of Wales jacket from the 1995 Chanel vintage collection and Diana’s black skinny pants vs the flared version; are similar but not 100% identical.

Kate’s look is more formal with minimal jewelry and heeled sandals. Princess Diana, on the other hand, went for a more casual vibe and completed the look with huge sunglasses and hoop earrings.

And in the subjective opinion of the author of this text, Lady Di’s outfit is much more consistent with today’s reality.

First, the outfit is absolutely universal. suitable both for going to the office and for an evening walk to a restaurant. Second, it fits at least three current trends.
