The current ruler of country music, Dolly Parton, recently said that she will never again go on tour.

Parton claimed that because she has spent her entire life traveling, she is aware of the fatigue and time commitment involved.

The actress and her husband are getting older, so she would prefer to live nearer to home in case something unexpected happens.

’I made fun of all the bizarre things that were occurring to me in the hospital,’ she said while describing her experience, ’and I laughed more than I had ever laughed in my life.’

The country diva kept telling herself that she didn’t want to disappoint her fans or her husband in particular, or even her spouse.

Because she does not want to have to deal with the guilt of being away from her family, Parton does not want to have to skip a concert when she is on tour because she is required at home.

Despite this, it’s not out of the question that we will hear from Parton again in the future.

She declared that while she would keep performing at functions and festivals, she would decline any engagements that required her to spend a lot of time traveling.

Parton and her husband Carl Thomas Dean are celebrating their 56th wedding anniversary this year.
