A video of a young boy who courageously rescues his mother from a terrible situation has been viewed by millions of people.

Officer Dipanshu Kabra of the Indian Police Service tweeted the video, which quickly went viral with over 74,000 views.

A woman is seen 43 seconds into the video working on an elevated repair project from the top of a wooden ladder.

A unexpected fall of the ladder left the woman dangling precariously from the uppermost rung. She held onto a beam-like structure for stability.

In fact, her kid had been standing not far from the ladder the whole time. After witnessing what had happened, he hurried to his mother’s aid before she passed out.

The kid made a determined attempt to lift the ladder and position it under his mom. Lucky for his mom, he was successful and avoided a terrible tragedy.
