Jane Fonda opens out on the one thing she wishes she had done wrong as a parent of three children.

Though Jane Fonda doesn’t have many regrets, she does have one and is working to atone for it.

According to the 85-year-old actress, ‘I was not the kind of mother that I wish that I had been to my children.’

’I have wonderful, wonderful children who are gifted and intelligent, and I simply didn’t know how to do it.’

Vanessa Vadim, Troy O’Donovan Garity, and Mary Luana Williams are Fonda’s three children. She recently confided in Wallace about her lack of parenting experience when her kids were little.

She has regretted it her entire life, but she wants to make it up to them.’I just didn’t know how to do it.’

The award-winning actress was immature when it came to parenting, just like almost all new parents.

It wasn’t until years later when she created an organization that deals with teens that she began to comprehend what it meant to parent a child.

‘I’ve studied parenting, and I run a group in Georgia that works with teenagers. Now I am aware of what should be done. When I didn’t know. I’m now making an effort to appear.

Georgia Campaign for Adolescent Power and Potential (GCAPP), launched by Fonda, was established in 1995.

The organization’s mission is to enhance young people’s general health and social wellbeing.

’What really frightens me is having a lot of regrets at the end of life and having no time to make amends.

And that’s one of the reasons I work so hard—I want to finish everything before I reach the conclusion.Parenthood is difficult. One of the hardest things to do is that.

It’s one of the few jobs you learn on the job, and there is no ideal way to do it. When it comes to parenting our children, we must all extend a little grace to ourselves.
