Parents frequently expose their children to pets. Some people even let young children and toddlers play with cats and dogs.
To begin with, encouraging children to play with pets outside could be a way to get them moving and improve both the kids and the pets’ health.
It’s also a fantastic technique to instill responsibility in children at a young age. One benefit of
teaching children how to feed pets is that they will learn the value of feeding their new furry best friend in order for it to live.
And last, it will provide them with a joyful routine and a bond unlike any other. But, we are discussing cats and dogs.

What if it’s a reptile, though? like lizards or snakes? Would you present them to your children at a young age?
Why not, then? For a father who loves snakes, he made sure to show his child one of his many pets, and even let the toddler play with them.
Jamie Guarino, a parent from White Lake, Michigan, gained notoriety in January 2015 after posting a video of his 14-month-old daughter Alyssa playing with his 13-foot Burmese python, Nay-Nay.
To alter people’s opinions about snakes, Jamie and one of his children, Krista, run the SnakeHuntersTV YouTube channel.

He creates information primarily concerning snakes and has more than 300,000 members.
But, the python can be seen coiling around his toddler, who was 14 months old at the time, in the footage before grabbing it as it passed by.
This led to critical responses to the film on the internet, with many commenting that it is unsafe to have a snake around children.
A commenter was reported by ABC7 as saying, “This guy has a love for his snakes, which is good, but it’s rendered him ignorant to the fact that it DOES remain a dangerous animal, especially towards a newborn.
She can still be dangerous if left alone with a snake or even a dog, you just don’t know, but she’s (sic) alright if an adult is around and watching, another person added.

One other individual remarked, ‘That machine is measuring the weight and mass of this kid for a future meal, but…. that’s none of my business.’
Jamie defended himself by claiming that his goal was simply to dispel the myth that snakes are terrible animals. Since the age of 18, he has been a snake charmer.
Despite their unfavorable reputation, Jamie said, ‘I was attempting to show that snakes are not terrible creatures and may be a loving pet.’
Jamie also remarked that it perplexes him whenever he witnesses Nay-Nay with his three girls and witnesses people reacting in apprehension or negatively.
According to a video he made and as reported by The Mirror, ‘When people view this clip they mostly respond with fear or negativity and I don’t
understand why because as you can see the snake is just meandering around and has no interest in biting her, choking her, or eating her.’
Jamie reassured that ‘absolutely no threat’ exists for his daughter. He continued by saying that Nay-Nay is safer for his child because dog attacks are more often than snake bites.
Dog assaults outnumber snake attacks by 95%, he claimed. Jamie added that he believes people who have a phobia of snakes have been misled.
He claimed that ‘this is an ingrained dread’ and that ’people are brainwashed.’
