Every child appreciates presenting his or her parent with a handmade present. They eagerly await their parents’ judgement and reaction.

And while practically anything a youngster gives a parent is treasured, this 9-year-old boy’s gift was exceptional…

His father’s reaction to the gift he spent so much time and work on was well worth it.

A 9-year-old child from Massachusetts has become an internet phenomenon due to something endearing he did.

Aaron Gouveia initially shared the video of his son presenting him with a kind gift. In just three days after Gouveia uploaded the video to his TikTok account @daddyfiles, it received

over 13 million views. The three-parent father was overjoyed to receive such a thoughtful present from his kid.

Gouveia stated in an interview that his kid had been taking sewing classes for more than a year and that his great-aunt Val had motivated him to take up the hobby.

‘His great-aunt is an extraordinary seamstress. She sews all items. In the interview, Gouveia stated,

‘He felt it was so great that she had been making us gifts for our entire lives.’ So, she has been

teaching him how to do things for the past few years, until he decided to take it to the next level.

Sam has been studying sewing at a small shop known as the Franklin Mill Shop. According to his father,

the nine-year-old has created cat pajama bottoms for his brother, many scrunchies, a dress for his cousin, a pillowcase, and now a shirt.

Gouveia stated, ‘I was really impressed and flattered that he wanted to make it for me.’

In the video, the young child can be seen beaming with delight as he describes to his father how he produced the shirt.

His father quickly puts it on and is effusive in his praise for his kid. He expresses his delight at receiving the gift and praises his son’s talent.

The author of ‘Raising Boys to Be Good Men’ and ‘Men and Miscarriage’ is Gouveia. He stated he wore the

shirt to his father’s birthday dinner the night he received it as a gift and wants to wear it again very soon.

Sam is the lone boy in his class, but this does not hinder him in any way. ‘He is the lone boy in the room, but he doesn’t mind.

This does not deter him. He simply likes it,’Gouveia added. ’[Franklin Mill Store is] such a secure and instructive environment. We are quite appreciative of them,’ he continued.

‘He is only nine years old, yet he makes these gowns, shirts, pants, pillowcases, and scrunchies. ‘It’s incredible!’ the pleased father exclaimed.

Sam has also gone viral in the past. On his ninth birthday, his excitement to receiving a sewing machine grabbed the hearts of millions of people worldwide.

And previously in 2018, he went popular for wearing nail polish, for which he was ridiculed, but strangers online rushed to his defense.

Sam is currently hard at work with his sewing. Gouveia explained, ‘He does not want his mother to feel left out, therefore he is currently working on a shirt for her as well.’
