Valerie Bertinelli and her ex-husband, who fought about the prenuptial agreement and asked for $50,000 in spousal support, are now officially “divorced.”
Valerie is finally free after getting a split that was hard on her.
After her ex-husband broke her heart, she talked with her friends about what she was looking for in a new partner.
It’s correct. Divorced, Valerie Bertinelli. The star has been waiting for this news for a whole year, and now it’s here. The actress from “Signed, Sealed, Delivered” just got a call from her lawyer telling her that the divorce was final.

Bertinelli’s paperwork says that the pair broke up two years ago, but Vitale’s paperwork says that they have been living apart since December 2021. She asked for a formal separation last year, and she now has a divorce.
In the video where she told the news, which was shot at the airport while she was on her way to see her child, she looked happy and excited.
In her tweet, she wrote, “11.22.22 is the second best day of my life.” Before she told him that the papers for the divorce were signed and would be filed, she told him:
I’m glad to be single again. God, finally! It’s finally over.
Why did Valerie Bertinelli’s divorce turn out to be so bad?
Even though Bertinelli and Vitale seem to be at odds with each other now, that wasn’t always the case. The two people got off to a great start with each other.
They met for the first time in 2007, not long after the actor from “The Promise of Love” got married for the second time to the late singer Eddie Van Halen, with whom she had a son named Wolfgang Van Halen.

Vitale asked her to marry him in 2010, after they had known each other for years. Her teacher said Bertinelli was happy with the man she was going to marry:
She’s so happy to be with the man she loves.
The actor said that she could have been single and lived with Vitale for the rest of her life. She wanted everyone to know how much she loved Vitale and that he was her husband. The best time to do that was at their wedding in Malibu in 2011.
Reports say that the couple’s honeymoon period started long before they got married and kept going afterward. But before they said their vows and swapped rings, they made sure to sign a prenuptial agreement.
They had a lot of emotional and professional happiness together after they got married. They worked together and had fun.
The financial advisor was sometimes on Valerie’s cooking show, “Valerie’s Home Cooking,” and her comedy show, “Hot in Cleveland.” They also started a tech marketing business called Veebow.
People who knew Bertinelli often talked about how happy she was with her husband and how their relationship seemed to be getting better.
So, many people were surprised when Bertinelli said, ten years later, that she and her husband had filed for a formal separation because they couldn’t get along anymore.

Vitale fought against their prenuptial agreement and tried to stop Bertinelli from asking for spousal support after she filed.
Later, he also asked the court for spouse support of $50,000 per month and for him to pay $200,000 in legal fees.
After fighting with her husband for almost a year over getting a divorce, Bertinelli said she would be happy to live alone for the rest of her life.
The star told Hoda Kotb that she could never trust anyone again and that getting a divorce was the worst thing she had ever done.
She shared a picture on Instagram in September that said she was selling her Jimmy Choo wedding shoes and Tiffany & Co wedding bands and gave a description of each.
What does Valerie Bertinelli think about love now that her marriage is over?
Bertinelli made it clear that while her split was going on, she wouldn’t be looking for love. She stated that she would like to be happy living on her own.
She can’t wait to be happier and have more time to spend with her pets and her future grandkids.
That’s fine with me.

Even though she doesn’t believe in love, she still enjoys it and is happy for her son, whose longtime girlfriend, Andraia Allsop, just got engaged. She can’t wait to be his kids’ grandmother someday.
