One image of Kenneth Babin and his wife Faye, who have been together for 72 years, has recently garnered a lot of attention online.

When their granddaughter Jalee started sharing videos of the two of them together on TikTok, people from all over the world fell in love with their sweet love.

And 93-year-old Faye and 95-year-old Kenneth talked briefly about their relationship and shared their thoughts on what makes a successful marriage.

He was gorgeous, he played the guitar and sang, and when you put all of that together, it was really romantic, as Faye described it.

‘I would turn to him and pleadingly ask for a hug or a kiss whenever I was in a bad mood or feeling low. And he agreed!’ She laughed at it.

The couple also stresses the need of being open with one another and never letting problems fester for too long. They also stated that they ‘always talked it out.’

They shared similar interests and hobbies, and their relationship depended heavily on laughing and companionship.

We enjoyed laughing, remembered Faye. We frequently did that, along with dominoes games and regular poker sessions.

Playing cards were used in other games. Divorce was never even a thought that entered my head.

And Kenneth discussed how one of the most crucial elements in the success of their marriage has always been loyalty.

‘We never once discussed ending our relationship; in fact, it was always the other way around. maintaining a tight friendship,’ he continued.
