According to Susan Sarandon, having children after the age of 40 is like going on a ‘crazy, sci-fi adventure.’

In addition to her outspoken opinions on a range of social issues and her activism, Susan Sarandon is best known for her work as an actor.

Sarandon has had three partnerships in her personal life that have garnered a lot of media attention. She has been married once and divorced once. Furthermore, she is a mother of three kids.

Additionally, Sarandon has been very upfront about her intention to have children after the age of 40.

She gave birth to Eva Amurri, an actress and current lifestyle blogger, as her first child in 1985.

In 1989, Sarandon gave birth to her second child, a writer and director named Jack Henry Robbins; the following year, in 1992, she gave birth to Miles Robbins, a singer and actress.

Regarding the way she gave birth to her children or the time of their arrival, Sarandon has no regrets.

They advised me, as if it would be detrimental to my work, ‘Don’t have the kid,’ and noted that I was already extremely elderly.

She said, ‘I had my first child at the age of 39, my third child at the age of 45, and with each child, people asked me, ‘Are you crazy?’’ Don’t!’’

With expectant mums, Sarandon gave some advice. ‘No matter how involved or well-intentioned your baby daddy or spouse is, it is up to you in the beginning,’ she continued.

It’s a really crazy, sci-fi voyage, so try to have the best fun you can with the delivery and everything else, she continued. You shouldn’t demand too much of yourself in terms of perfection.
