The homeless man known online as ‘piano man’ is now a well-known musician and will perform among 70,000 fans at an NFL game…Video

Nobody knew that Donald Gould, who is currently in his fifties, was a very skilled and fully developed musician.

Not until the administration of the community’s initiative to expand the selection of music there was successful.

The Arts and Cultural Alliance of Sarasota County launched the Sarasota Keys Piano Project in 2015, positioning a number of pianos for the general public to play in various areas across downtown Sarasota.

Furthermore, Gould would never, ever turn down the chance to play it for anything. After viewing all of the pianos, Gould, a Michigan native, wasted no time in trying his hand at playing one of them.

As he sat down, Gould began to play the Styx song ‘Come Sail Away’ while only sporting an old singlet, some pants, and untidy hair.

His spontaneous performance enthralled the crowd, which signaled the start of an entirely new chapter in his life.

Gould played the clarinet while serving in the United States Marine Corps and graduated from college with a degree in music. He is also an accomplished drummer.

It is clear that he has never forgotten it, even though he only recently learned it.

The homeless man was reportedly explaining to a few small children that he needed to learn how to play every instrument, from the piccolo to the tuba, to those who had stopped to compliment his playing.

After the cellphone video of him playing the piano featured an interview that garnered roughly 3 million views, Gould started receiving job offers.

The opportunity to play the National Anthem in front of 70,000 NFL fans at a San Francisco 49ers game was one of the employment offers.

The once-homeless man gained not only local but also international recognition, which ultimately brought him a new love interest.

Sabine Perez asked Gould to play some calming music for her challenged child since he honestly wanted

to do something nice for him. He had written back to her seven months after she had first written to him.

The events that transpired have made Perez Gould’s partner. The duo currently resides in Germany, where

they have been on German television and collaborate on records in addition to giving public performances.

Despite his recent success, Gould refuses to let it make him forget the experiences that made him the person he is today.

In 2017, Gould returned to his ‘lucky’ piano and gave another rendition of “Come Sail Away” there.
