Dog Shares Touching Reunion With Owner After Being Missing for Three Years… Video

An 18-year-old poodle mix’s owners couldn’t believe it when Dorchester Paws informed them that their lost dog had been located.

Six hours away from their house, their dog, Binky (also known as Mr. B), had been discovered! And even though it was dirty and in poor condition, the dog was still alive!

Lanea Wilson and April Howard, employees of the shelter, describe how Binky came to be there. Mr. B.

was taken into the shelter for care after being found by a ‘good Samaritan’ by the side of the road. Lanea explains Mr. B.’s state upon

his arrival. Binky was dreadfully matted and covered in fleas. He had very long nails, was filthy, terrified, and undernourished. He had not received attention in a very long time.

But because Mr. B. had a microchip, they were able to track down his owners. When Binky vanished,

his family was getting ready to relocate. Before leaving their home, they gave themselves a few more days

and made contact with all the nearby shelters in an effort to locate Binky. They didn’t want to abandon him!

Before moving to a new house in a different Georgia town, they sadly were unable to find Binky.

Furthermore, it is unknown how Binky traveled to Summerville, South Carolina, and where he has been for the past few years.

Binky was taken care of, cleaned, and had his nails cut before being driven back to his Georgia family by a Dorchester Paws volunteer. It was such a fantastic reunion!

Linea and April exhort dog owners to microchip their canines. It is the most effective approach to ensure that a

pup is brought back home if it goes away because it is low-cost and has no negative health effects on the animals.

Despite being very old, Mr. B. has finally returned home, and it appears that his final days will be spent being loved and pampered.
