This 2-year-old is absolutely stealing hearts with her adorable rendition of the National Anthem!

Singing in front of a crowd is never easy. To do it requires a lot of nerve. However, some people appear to have been made for the spotlight. Trent is one of those individuals.

Trent Harris sang the national anthem during a high school basketball game when he was 2.5 years old. (Really, just two!)

You must see this wonderful performance today if you want your heart to melt. The father of young Trent is a talented athlete.

You must be accustomed to crowds if your father, Clark Harris, plays football for the Cincinnati Bengals!

Trent really performed at Clark’s former high school (Southern Regional) in Manahawkin, New Jersey, where the varsity basketball game was played.

The young child initially grasps his father’s hand. Trent and Clark can be seen walking across the gym floor together in the footage, and you can also see how crowded the stands are.

You must admit that ‘The Star-Spangled Banner’ doesn’t sound like a simple song for a two-year-old, yet Clark gives his kid a microphone so that he can sing it.

The audience was in for a treat.

It’s very clear Trent’s performance is going to tilt the scale toward sweetness as soon as he starts singing the national anthem.

Oh, say can you see, he sings in a sweet child voice. While leaning against his son for support, Clark can’t help but smile.

I’ve got this, Dad.

By the anthem’s second stanza, Clark is able to disappear and allow his son take center stage on his own.

Being abandoned in front of a crowd would probably frighten out a lot of young children, but not this guy.

Like a consummate performer, he continues the song with assurance. Someone has been working on it at home.

Amazingly, Trent is a master of ‘The Star-Spangled Banner.’ He may possibly be more knowledgeable about it than some grownups! But because he’s a toddler,

it sounds much sweeter when he sings it. Even the audience laughs as he pronounces the lyrics ‘perilous fight.’

He makes the audience laugh other times as well.
Nothing makes you feel better than hearing a two-year-old’s voice.

Think about how adorable one would sound if it had lyrics like ‘rocket’s red glare’ and ‘bombs bursting in air.’

Trent doesn’t let you down. You can tell that the spectators were enthralled by everything. It comes as no surprise that he received a rousing round of applause at the conclusion. Well done, kiddo!

The video gained popularity.

Jessica and Clark made the decision to broadcast their son’s outstanding performance to the entire world.

It garnered a lot of attention and has received millions of views. On YouTube, Jessica posted: ‘My son’s first performance!!!

singing the Star Spangled Banner during the basketball game between Pinelands Regional High School and the Varsity boys from Southern Regional High School. I’m very pleased.
