Sometimes, people come into our life, and it takes us a long time to realize their importance. Angela Nguyen was one of these people for a man by the name of Lee Haase.

For many years, Angela, a Domino’s employee, delivered pizzas to various frequent clients, among them Lee.

Every Saturday, without fail, Lee would place an order for pizza, and Angela would unfailingly bring it to him.

On a Saturday, though, the orders abruptly stopped. Angela made the decision to go to Lee’s house to learn more about the sudden change when she became concerned.

The damage was immediately apparent upon Angela’s arrival. A significant piece of Lee’s roof had been cruelly torn off by a powerful storm.

Unfortunately, Lee’s financial situation became so bad that he was unable to pay for the required repairs.

His son had sadly died in a snowmobile accident around the same time, adding to his anguish.

Lee was compelled to move into a basic trailer after falling into a deep depression and experiencing financial difficulty.

Sarah, Angela’s daughter who also delivered pizzas, happened upon Lee’s new home and informed her mother of his difficult circumstances.

Essentials like heat, water, a sewage outlet, and power were absent from Lee’s trailer.

Angela was very impacted by Lee’s situation and would not merely watch and do nothing. Instead, she made a decision to act.

‘I thought we had to do something,’said Angela. We cannot allow a person to live in such conditions.

To help Lee with his problems, she took the initial step of buying a heater for his trailer.
Angela then started a crowdfunding drive to spread Lee’s moving tale to a larger audience.

The outpouring of support from kindhearted people who were moved by his circumstances was astounding.

The campaign raised an astonishing $32,360 in just two months, which is enough money to buy Lee a brand-new mobile home.

Angela gratefully acknowledges that without the help and support of the neighborhood and the kindness of strangers,

she would not have been able to do this task. ‘Every single one of us enjoyed doing this,’she says. Not all of this is for Lee. Everyone profited.

Lee’s life was transformed into one of thankfulness and hope because of Angela’s prompt intervention

and her sincere compassion. She opened the door for Lee to recovering his future, and for that, he will always be grateful.
