After the man travels five miles to court without any money, the judge pays for his fines. Video

After the defendant walked five miles to court with no money to his name, the judge decided to pay the man’s fines.

It would have been simple for Daniel Murray to lay all of his issues at the feet of his unfortunate life circumstances.

Instead, he accepted responsibility for his own deeds, and as a result of the humility he displayed, he was presented with a gift.

Parking tickets are nothing new to Daniel. He had seven of them in total. He arrived a little out of breath and with visible sweat running through his shirt for his court appearance.

He treated the judge with respect and agreed to the repercussions that resulted in all of his parking tickets.

Daniel didn’t have the $250 that his fines totaled. Then Daniel inquired, ‘Is there any possibility

that this may be postponed for a little while? He told the judge, ‘I’m in a little bit of a financial predicament.

Daniel was then asked how much he could pay today by the judge. At that point, he finds out that Daniel only has 92 cents to his name and had to travel five miles to get to court on time.

Daniel needed a blessing, the judge saw. The judge continues, ‘I received a letter from a man by the name of Frank J. Demacio this morning. Due to a dispute, he stated,

‘Now I am on unemployment, but I am enclosing this to add to your fund.’ The judge continued by explaining that he

founded the Filomena Fund in honor of his mother. People in desperate financial situations, like Daniel’s, are helped with the money.

The judge instructed Daniel to utilize the $25 Frank supplied in cash for an Uber. Daniel felt grateful and humbled.

The judge insisted on bestowing Daniel with a tiny present, despite his first feelings that he didn’t deserve it.

The judge then bestows Daniel with numerous blessings. He paid all of Daniel’s fines with money from the Filomena Fund and even got his car back!

Daniel believed it was unjustified, yet you can tell by the expression on his face and the way he carried himself that he was appreciative.

The judge requests Daniel to pay it forward and be polite to someone else before he leaves the courtroom.

Kindness is similar to that. When we are kind, kind, and compassionate to someone, it multiplies and spreads throughout your community.

Let’s use this judge as a kindness compass to direct us to a person who needs our assistance. What a motivating tale!
