One of a teen’s most formative years is the four years spent in high school, and the relationships you have with those who are close to you have a big impact on who you become.
Brenda Hurst handled the matter exactly that way. Hurst, the chief janitor, enjoys a good reputation and respect at Boiling Springs High School.

She has made a positive impact on many students at the school, including Alexis Ork, who is currently the student body president.
Ork felt compelled to help the woman who had helped her so frequently when she learned that Hurst’s family home had been destroyed in a fire.

By enlisting the aid of the student council and the Carpenters of Christ, Ork and the rest of the neighborhood agreed to
support the brave woman in her efforts to rebuild her home. Ork said, ‘She changed my life, and I’m happy that I played a part in improving hers.’
The house was ultimately constructed a year later, and the celebration started right away.

Hurst was able to see her friends and neighbors gathered around her to show their support as soon as she removed the blindfold from her eyes. Hurst cried as she walked through the door of her new house.
One of the aspects of her new house that she loved utilizing the most was the walk-in closet. As soon as she entered, she immediately began dancing in it.
