Experience the awe-inspiring talent of a 5-year-old piano prodigy as he mesmerizes the audience with a jaw-dropping performance of Mozart’s masterpiece. Video

At the beginning of the 10th International Musical Competition, ‘Città di Penne,’ in Italy, Alberto Cartuccia Cingolani gave a performance.

When little Alberto Cartuccia Cingolani sat down at the Yamaha grand piano in front of him, one could have

assumed that he was ready to begin playing a simple piece because his feet were barely hanging over the stool.

Instead, at the inauguration of the 10th International Musical Competition, ‘Città di Penne,’ in Italy, the 5-year-old captivated the

audience with a stunning performance of Mozart’s famous Sonata in C, K. 545 Allegro. The video was previously shared on Facebook and Twitter in May, but it has subsequently gained new traction.

The young man made it seem so simple while performing the piece while wearing little jeans and a bow tie; at points, he didn’t even glance at his hands while they were on the keys.

According to Alberto’s mother Alessia, ‘He started playing during the months of the first lockdown,’

she told the local Corriere Adriatico newspaper in Italy. Since I was often at home, we started playing games on a little keyboard to keep ourselves entertained.

I understood then that Alberto was a good fit. He had amazing pitch, which my husband and I both noted.

He has been accomplishing amazing things for a year and a half, both for his age and for how long it took him to learn.

He takes his place at the keyboard and plays the pieces again despite the fact that he still struggles

to read notes effectively, if at all. He has excellent instincts. [Translation into Italian]
This young man undoubtedly has a good and lengthy career ahead of him. We hope to see him again soon!
