However, if you weren’t born then, you might want to watch the movie for yourself. ‘Jamie Jones’ submitted the one-minute footage to YouTube, and in the description of the video, they stated:

‘In this cut scene, Baby/Jennifer Grey is being taught to dance by Johnny/Patrick Swayze in preparation for their performance at the Shelldrake.
Many people mistakenly believe that this is from the film or rehearsal footage, but it was cut. This was one of the scenes that had to be removed due to time constraints and financial constraints.
Additionally, they wanted to include the scene between Mickey and Silvia in the film. While warming up, Patrick and Jennifer were unaware that the camera was filming.
Because the film’s production team appreciated it so much, they made sure to incorporate that sequence. This is why the sequence was removed from the film.

The fact that Johnny had to take time out of his day like a real teacher in this world to make a sign is hilarious to me for some reason lmao,
and the fact that Baby is wearing her cardigan over her getup is just so on brand for her character,
said one fan and online viewer. I adore this cut scene because it conveys so much about each of their personas in such a brief passage.

It’s impossible to explain the chemistry between Patrick Swayze and Jennifer Grey. This one-minute deleted scene from the
film is intended to do nothing but bring back pleasant memories for everyone who worked on it and for the film’s devoted fans.
