Woman Persuades Toddler To Say ‘Mom’, But Dog Gets Ahead Of Him… Video

When a woman tried to coax her toddler into saying the word ‘mom’ by bribing him with treats, their miniature Australian Shepherd, Patch, beat him to it.

Patch is a beloved member of the Diaz-Giovanni family who live in the humble city of Cedar Hills, Utah.

They have an adorable nine month old boy named Sam. The parents just wanted to capture that wonderful moment when Lil Sam says the word ‘mom’.

The boy’s mother, Andrea Diaz-Giovanni, was in for a surprise when she tried to get her child to say the word with the help of sweets.

Just take a closer look: in the video, Patch’s ears instantly pricked up, and he began to listen to the commands of his mistress.

He really really wanted this treat and simply could not resist ‘pronouncing the word’, albeit in a very peculiar way.

One of the best parts of the video is when Sam looks at Patch with annoyance and pushes him away as

if to say ‘Stop competing with me!’ At that moment, the family burst into laughter, and so did we.

Some people expressed their outrage after watching the video. They thought that Patch didn’t get any treats after such an impressive performance.

The hosts hurried to calm the excited crowd. They uploaded footage showing that they gave Patch some treats after all. He deserved it!

Patch is a very loyal pet, and he became especially dear to the Diaz-Giovanni family because he helped their grandmother recover from a severe head injury

as a result of a major car accident. Patch warned the family every time he saw that she was about to have a seizure. Incredible, right?
