Achieving 55 years of blissful marriage is very extraordinary, especially in the entertainment world like Hollywood,

as David McCallum and his wife have done. On the other side, McCallum started dating Carpenter after he had been married for ten years.

Because of Charles Brosnan’s contact with Ireland, for whom he had love affections, McCallum’s marriage to his first wife was annulled.

‘They call me ‘granddaddy,’’ We don’t like it when you call me grandfather because it implies that

I’m elderly, even if I’m not. Additionally, some of them even had the audacity to call me ‘grand-ducky.’

Although he dislikes the nicknames given to him, he loves nothing more than to spend time with his wife, children,

and grandchildren as he celebrates a life that has been full of adventure and success with the woman he has been married to for 55 years.
