Despite how adorable bears may seem, they may be deadly, inflicting pain or even death to anyone who approach too closely.

Fortunately, one dog prevented a curious bear from harming a house or its occupants. The enormous beast can be seen entering the New York house in a YouTube video.

The back doors are seen being open in the footage, which the bear naturally interpreted as a request to serve itself.

The bear’s unexpected visit was, however, abruptly ended. The large animal can be seen in the video gently

moving toward the kitchen after entering the home. However, a courageous dog barked into the room and scared the bear away.

The dog rushes in and barks at the enormous animal member. The animal makes a hasty exit from the house after deciding it is not wanted.

After the bear has left the house, a woman rushes into the picture and shuts the doors that previously allowed the animal to enter.

But the bear isn’t finished yet. The video depicts the bear returning toward the now-locked doors,

perhaps realizing that his departure may have been a little premature. It briefly sniffs about the doors before leaving on foot.

The courageous and valiant dog of the family deserved a few extra treats and head rubs.The dog prevented a scary situation from getting lot worse.
