For Marie Osmond, being a member of a big family is nothing new. The eighth of nine children, she grew up with all brothers.

Since the family performed in public as a group when they were young, show business has also remained a constant.

Although Marie Osmond was never formally a member of the family singing group, she and her brother Donny Osmond later shared hosting duties on the variety program ‘Donny & Marie’ from 1976 to 1979.

Marie is an independent musician best known for the country-pop single ‘Paper Roses.’ Her mother first urged her to record her own album, and both the album and lead single were gold-certified.

Additionally, ‘Paper Roses’ debuted at the top of the country music charts and peaked at position five on Billboard’s pop music chart.

Marie and Bill Blosil, her second husband, had been married for 20 years, but they had no happy marriage.

‘I just went, ‘I can’t do this anymore,’ and my kids came to me and begged me to leave,’Marie recalled. We must leave immediately.

The couple’s home was burned down in 2005, which served as a clear indication that it was time to end their marriage.

One of the most liberating things to ever occur to me, according to Marie, she said. “Because I understood that the house I had built was a façade for

a marriage that had been unhappy for 20 years. I firmly feel that ‘the burning within’ refers to God. Therefore, these events occasionally occur to alert us.

Marie asserted that she experienced problems with Blosil in part because she was still mourning her romance with Stephen Craig.

‘You have to be so careful not to jump into a relationship after you’ve been through a sad one,’ she said.

‘You definitely need some alone time. In addition, finding a nice person requires that you first believe in your own goodness.

Reconnecting with Craig was another event in Marie’s life that had a profound impact. The singer had a different

perspective on her previous relationship with her first spouse after her marriage to Blosil ended. ‘The thing about a second marriage is that you realize things you thought were so important,

aren’t,’ Marie said. When I’m with my husband, I adore it. He is the nicest man I have ever met. He truly attends to the needs of others and lives to serve.

Following their initial divorce in 1985, Craig and Marie remarried in 2011. After her first marriage ended, life wasn’t simple for her.

Marie stated, ‘I’m a single mom all of a sudden, and I don’t know how I’m going to pay my rent, let alone feed my kid.’ So I made the decision to return to my job.

Marie wasn’t initially certain if she wanted to attempt marriage a third time after everything she

had to go through with Blosil. Marie said,’I never wanted to get married again.” I said, ‘I’m good, I’m good!’

Marie and Craig were able to revive their passion with the aid of their son Stephen. The singer claimed

that although ‘it was our son who kind of got us back together, (my husband) has been there for me and he’s just my best friend, you know, and loves my kids.’

Marie and Craig made the decision to remarry so they could attend Stephen’s wedding as a married couple because their son was also walking down the aisle.

‘We (realized) we can’t go to our son’s wedding and not be married,’ Marie said. ‘Stephen was getting married.’

The result was that we were married before he was. He made light of the fact that it did happen despite his doubts.

Marie donned the same bridal gown she did for her first wedding to Craig because the ceremony was rushed.

‘I was cleaning out my garage when this box appeared in this pile of things, and it was this dress, and it was five days ago,’ Marie recalled. I am not joking. Isn’t that absurd?

Nearly 30 years after her initial walk down the aisle, Marie married her husband once more, and her

dress still fit! But that does not imply that it was the most comfortable clothing to wear. Entertainment Tonight was informed by Marie:

‘I’m in it, but I can’t breathe.’

‘I had a dress all designed (for this wedding), but when it showed up, it wasn’t (right),’ the singer continued.

I was so depressed that I thought about crying. Therefore, when she discovered the box in her garage, it seemed almost fated.

And it is clear that Marie believes her relationship with Craig was predetermined. I suppose certain

things were just meant to be, and as you get older, you learn to appreciate things, said Marie. Life is good, don’t you think?

Marie revealed that she and Craig decided to get married on May 4 because it was the same day as the birthdays of her late son Michael and her deceased mother.

She explained that it was crucial that both Michael and her mother were present on this memorable day.

Over the years, Marie has continued to share touching and significant events with her followers.

She and Craig celebrated their anniversary in May 2023, and she referred to Craig as ‘the love of my life.’

In June 2023, Marie shared a picture of herself and her husband from their first wedding along with a picture from their second wedding, which had taken place 29 years earlier.

Emoticons of the heart were used in the post’s caption as Marie raved about how much she loved recreating her relationship with Craig. It’s quite nice to be with my dearest friend, she wrote.

She released another set of images later that month with the remark ‘I’m so glad we found each other again!!!’
