Dog Kahula, who is paraplegic, is not aware of her condition. She merely thinks she goes about things a little bit differently than other people.
The lovely dog injured her spine and hip after falling three stories, but that hasn’t stopped Kahlua from living her best life.
Kahula is still mobile. She simply approaches things somewhat differently. When she is inside, she moves around by
scooting on her bottom because she is unable to utilize her rear legs. Kahlua uses a wheelchair to get around outside.

A mother in Port Charlotte, Florida, captured video of her little child imitating Kahula’s movement patterns throughout the house.
According to Lori Dugas, the video was shot on August 3. Baby Caleb can be seen in the endearing video observing how Kahlua the dog moves as it passes him.
It appears that the dog is attempting to teach the man a lesson. Then, as his leg is tucked under his torso, Caleb begins to move.

After her foster family assisted her in adjusting to a new way of life, she adopted the puppy. She has been living with us ever since, and she is a wonderful addition.
Since joining the family, Caleb, according to Lori, has formed a unique affinity with Kahlua. ‘Kahlua claimed Caleb as her own the day we brought him home from the hospital,’
she said. We weren’t sure how she would cope given her past and trust concerns, but to our amazement, she has loved him from the beginning.
