Many of us in childhood hid somewhere a ‘capsule of time’ for the future a cache with a note or favorite witches. It is expensive to find such a treasure over the years,

because this is a real portal to the past.Here is one girl who did the same in 1975, only her behavior took on unprecedented proportions almost 50 years later.

It all started with a carpenter who restored an old house.

When the man removed the wall in the living room, he noticed the inscription ‘Note of September 29, 1975’ with an arrow, made with a marker.

The arrow pointed to a small niche, where a small tube was found, and inside it was a letter.

The note read: ‘To whoever finds this letter. Today is September 29, 1975. My name is Stephanie Herron.

I live here with my mom, dad, Becky and Valerie. <...> Mom is pregnant, she will give birth from day to day.

It seems that this house was built in 1872, and now we are remodeling it. <...> Dad works on the railroad.

There are about 650 people living in [our town] Green Valley. I am 14, Valerie is 16 and Becky is 12. I hope you will be very happy in this house. Steph.

P.S. My mother’s name is Rose Herron. She is a registered nurse and works in a nursing home. <...> She is a wonderful mother.”

‘It felt like this 14-year-old girl was standing next to us and talking to us. She instantly took us half a century back, ‘the carpenter shared.

Stephanie really became famous all over TikTok: a video about her ‘time capsule’ gained a million views in a couple of days.

Now the house belongs to other people, but they plan to keep Stephanie’s note inside the wall so that someone else will find it many years later.
