A 90-year-old resident of the Czech Republic turned her village into a gallery

Anežka Kašparková, a former agricultural worker, creates intricate floral patterns inspired by traditional Moravian (South Bohemian) designs.

An example for young people.

She copied another local woman who had been doing the same for years. Agneska paints bright blue paint on the walls of her neighbors’ houses with a small brush.

She does not take money for her work and is very relaxed about her sudden fame, which came to her thanks to

the viral distribution of the photos on social networks. ‘I just love doing it and I want to help,’ she says of about her hobby.

Despite the fact that she has gained popularity both locally and around the world, the elderly Polish woman insists that she does it purely for fun.

Using the example of Agnes Kashparkova, it becomes obvious that age really is just a number, especially when it comes to the work you love.
