When one Marine received a promotion, his little child was not going to watch from the sidelines.

One YouTube video from November 2016 has gone viral and won over hearts with an appealing conversation between a father and his little son.

When the Marine advanced in rank and a ceremony was organized to celebrate, his young son joined in on the fun and made the moment even more memorable for his happy father.

In the video, a group of Marines were in formation and their commander was reading a proclamation to them as they entered their new chapter.

As the superior continued to outline the new responsibilities he would be taking on going forward, one of the guys marched to the front of the formation in front of him.

His commander read aloud, ‘As a Marine sergeant, you must set the example for others to follow. You are in charge of the safety,

professional growth, and general wellbeing of the Marines under your command in addition to completing the objective that has been set to you.

‘You will embody our institutional core values of honor, courage, and commitment,’he concluded. You will

obey the directives of your senior leaders, enforce all rules and articles, and command your marines with firmness, justice, and dignity.

The Marine maintained his composure and stock-still posture as the superior read out the message.

After it was ended, though, a special visitor arrived, and the Marine’s cold demeanor gave way to affection.

The Marine was shown ready to switch out the lapel pins to signify his promotion in the following scene.

But for this wonderful father, it would be his own lovely 3-year-old kid who would do the honor.

The young child approaches his father with a smile on his face and the sweetest head of blond curls.

He shouted ‘Good afternoon, gentlemen’ when he got to the men in the front, which couldn’t help but make his father laugh a little.

The Marine then moves to his left lapel and bends low to allow the young child to change the pins on his right lapel.

While the boy changed the pins, his father was able to maintain his cool. However, once the child was finished and they had hugged,

the marine broke out in smiles and laughs as he stood up. Then, moving back into the rear of the group, he appeared to be the proudest parent alive.

With over 27 million views since the cute video was released in 2016, it has become a great sensation!

It is obvious that the small youngster has won over hearts all across the world in addition to his father’s.

Allowing this child to do the pinning gave me goosebumps and brought tears on my eyes. This is one of the coolest things I have ever witnessed.
