retired from acting. She played a character in the German drama ‘Das Traumschiff’ in the year 2020.

After ‘Dynasty’ ended, Evans moved to a more isolated area of Washington state a few years later.

She ultimately took the decision to give up looking for work, but in 2019, some years later, she changed her mind and decided to resume looking.

She discovered the ‘Swan Song’ screenplay at this time, and she promptly booked a flight to Ohio to start making her first motion picture in more than 20 years.

Evans said: ‘I’ve never been happier in all of my years on this planet.’ Evans talked about the less stressful lifestyle she had embraced during an interview in the year 2021.

I’ve made a place for myself that I enjoy spending time in. This area is great for getting away from it all when the rest of the world is chaotic.

Evans does not appear to be working on any projects at the moment, but she has much to be happy about.

She turned 80 on November 18, 2022, and shared a lovely photo on her Instagram account to mark the occasion.

The actress stated the following in the description of the picture: This is the 80th number! My spirit is bursting with gratitude, and I am incredibly grateful.
