Man raises nearly $67,000 for a homeless veteran in order to aid him with…

According to a Statista estimate, there may be as many as 40,000 homeless veterans in the United States. According to information they released this year,

there would be 10,395 homeless veterans in California by 2022. A unexpected contact with a stranger changed the course of a homeless veteran’s life who had little hope left in him.

Through his 12 million followers, @jimmydarts tries to assist a number of folks who are having trouble finding housing.

He talked about Roy, a veteran who was trying to return to Tulsa, Oklahoma, with his son in a recent video.

Darts initially informed Roy that he was homeless and requested a dollar from him. Roy gave Darts some change despite the fact that he was also without a house.

He commented, ‘Sometimes I end up giving every penny, and then I find more money.’ Roy had no idea that his theory would quickly prove to be accurate.

Darts quickly disclosed who he was, handed Roy $500 in cash, and also gave him his quarter back. After making sure the present was genuine,

Roy thanked Darts and reserved a motel room for the night. He said, ‘Now I can take a bath.’ But that was only the start.

Darts initiated a fund-raising campaign named ‘Help Roy A Homeless Veteran Off The Streets!,’ with the initial goal of generating $20,000 for Roy.

However, additional individuals continued to contribute, and he ultimately raised $66,502 in just 5 days.

On his GoFundMe page, Darts argued that ‘no veteran should have to live on the streets without a home.’

‘Let’s raise enough money to provide Roy with a vehicle and a place to stay, and change his life forever!’

How do I thank them all, Roy inquired in thankfulness when Darts informed him that the money had been raised to aid him.

Roy also revealed something that made users of TikTok very sad: Nobody would even care if I were to drown out there while swimming. I figured my son would ultimately learn the truth,

you know. He would show some concern. But that’s pretty much all. ‘He must, but I was beginning to wonder,’

he answered in response to Darts’ assertion that Jesus loved Roy. The veteran remarked to Darts, ‘Wow…I’m glad I didn’t drown, I would have missed a blessing.’
