Giving a child up for adoption is one of the most heartbreaking decisions a parent can make. Even despite the great love of parents for their children,
sometimes circumstances develop in such a way that it will be better for a child to live with another family.
Whether it’s because of youth or the biological parents’ limited financial resources, being raised in another family
sometimes allows a child to have a better future. Although many adopted children never meet their biological family, exceptions do occur.
In this story, so bizarre it could very well have come from the pen of Charles Dickens, a man who grew up in foster care almost from birth learns that his work buddy was actually his biological father.

Nathan Boos of Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin grew up as a happy child. Although Nathan knew he was adopted, he never asked his parents about who his biological family was.
He just grew up, studied, and then successfully got a job in a local trucking company. It was in this company that Nathan befriended one of his colleagues, Robert Degaro.
Nathan and Robert spent a lot of time together, eventually adding each other as Facebook friends. It was from Facebook that Nathan’s mother made a startling discovery.

One day, when Nathan’s mom was browsing her son’s Facebook page, she saw that he was friends with Robert.
Then the woman approached Nathan and said that Robert was actually his biological father. She also told how his biological mother asked her to adopt the boy immediately after the birth.
Although the biological mother fell in love with Nathan, she knew that she could not financially provide for a small child.
Because the two were distant cousins, Nathan’s biological mother knew that he would be raised in a loving family.
