Australian actress Nicole Kidman, who was born in the United States, has won numerous awards over her illustrious career.
Kidman was the highest-paid actress in Hollywood in 2006, 2018 and 2019. The New York Times named Kidman as one of the top five actors of the twenty-first century in 2020.
She started her career in 1983 and is most known for her work in the movies ‘Eyes Wide Shut,’ ‘The Hours,’ for which she won the Academy Award for best actress,
as well as ‘Far and Away.’ She has had success as a television star as well, with one of her most prominent
performances being in ‘Big Little Lies.’ She won two Emmys for the series, one each for acting and executive producing.
Kidman and country music performer Keith Urban have been wed since 2006. The two fell in love at G’Day LA, a celebration of Australians residing in Los Angeles.
A few years after Kidman and her ex-husband, Tom Cruise, divorced, they started dating. Urban and Kidman got hitched
in Sydney, Australia, where they now call home. They also live in Nashville, Tennessee, New York City, and Los Angeles.
In 1991, Urban issued his debut record under his own name. The next year, he relocated to the US, where he worked as a session guitarist for the band The Ranch.
Later, he joined Capitol Records, and in 1999, he issued his first self-titled album in this country.
The album was given a platinum certification in the US and gave birth to Urban’s first Billboard Country chart-topper.
The media has paid close attention to Kidman and Urban’s romance, in part due to the manner they frequently profess their love for one another.

Urban went on:
‘I definitely have a big imagination when it comes to possibilities in life, but I never in a million years imagined that someone would be interested in me. At all.’
Kidman wasn’t confident, but he was smitten. He was given Kidman’s phone number by a mutual friend, but he opted not to call her right away.
I kept her phone number in my pocket for a long after receiving it from someone. I kept staring at
it and telling myself, ‘If I call this number, she’ll answer.’ I’m not sure what to say,’ Urban said.
Urban stated why he first refrained from approaching Kidman. ‘My life wasn’t in a very healthy place. I never would have imagined that she would be attracted to a guy like myself.
But eventually I worked up the guts to contact those numbers, and she picked up. We then began talking for hours on end, and it was effortless, Urban recalled.
Kidman revealed what first connected the duo in the following interview:‘I believe we were two lonely individuals. I’d probably say that two incredibly lonely people met
at a moment when they could be vulnerable with one another. We felt brave and scared at the same time.
‘It was my (38th) birthday, and he was on my porch in New York at five in the morning with gardenias. At that point, I thought, ‘This is the man I aspire to marry. Kidman went on to say
It was quite tense. At that point, I thought he was my true love. I simply believed, ‘Oh, okay, here he is,’
whether because I am a highly romantic person, an actress, or because I also have a great sense of faith.
Urban also changed his life, which had been blighted by addiction issues, with the love and support of his wife,
and even went on to hold numerous residencies in Las Vegas. In June 2023, the musician debuted his third album in the area.
The two also adore supporting one another at movie premieres and music award shows because they enjoy the same interests and pastimes.
Kidman has been known to join in on Urban’s lyrical moments even in their own houses, as seen on February 4, 2022,
when Kidman entered a video he was shooting singing a Dolly Parton song. She had additionally joined
her husband at the piano to perform a cover of Keith Urban’s song ‘Female’ as their girls were filming them.
Kidman’s vocal talent was well known; she boldly exhibited it while portraying Satine in the Baz Luhrmann musical ‘Moulin Rouge!’ The 2001 production, Kidman’s first musical film,
dazzled audiences with her vocal prowess, striking every note for the opulent movie’s big stage numbers.

‘Big Little Lies,’ they were both dressed to the nines, yet it seemed like their only focus was keeping up a steady pace with one another.
