Father of three lives on welfare and claims he is ‘not in the mood’ to look for a job

Some people need government help to get back on their feet and provide for their families while they try to find a way to make money.

And there are those who believe that the state should provide them. Adele and Matt Allen are just such people.

This unusual couple lives an odd life and has an interesting value system that makes them feel entitled to taxpayer money as well as a three-bedroom council house, according to News.com.au.

It’s very unlikely that Matt is going to find a job and provide for his family, as he states that he

‘has absolutely no intention of spending 45-50 hours a week at work’ and explains that this disgusts his ‘spiritual attitude’.

This isn’t the first time the Allens have come under scrutiny. The internet-famous family proudly shares their unconventional parenting methods and lifestyle.

Despite their choice to benefit from the state, the Allens maintain that they live without amenities and try to lead a modest lifestyle.

They also believe in the right upbringing of children, when it is the children who have the final say in many matters,

for example, in this family, it is the children who decide when they go to bed, or whether they even brush their teeth today.

The children don’t go to school because the Allens think it looks too much like a prison. School is not the only thing missing in a child’s life.

They also do not visit doctors: the family does not believe in traditional medicine, as Adele is sure that breast milk is the best cure for most diseases.

Such a life involves receiving some benefit from the state, but Matt believes that they, on the contrary, save taxpayer money, as they lead a very modest lifestyle.

He also adds that their choice to have their children at home saved the state money. This family

seems to believe that as long as they limit their spending, it’s okay to live on welfare.
