Irish singer Sinead O’Connor died at the age of 56. It is with great sadness that we announce the death of our beloved Sinead.

In 2017, O’Connor posted a video opening up about her long-term depression. She tried to end her life 8 times.

In 2018, she renounced Catholicism and converted to Islam. In 2022, her 17-year-old son, Shane, end his life.

In her last post on Twitter, the singer posted her picture and wrote: ‘He was the love of my life, the light of my soul. He was the only person who loved me unconditionally.’

During her career, Sinead O’Connor released 10 albums. The singer rose to global fame in 1990 with her rousing rendition of Prince’s ‘Nothing Compares 2 U.’
