No one came to the birthday of a nine-year-old boy: a few days later a miracle happens

A nine-year-old boy from Indiana named Gerald Hamilton was very happy about his upcoming birthday.

He sent out as many as 30 invitations to his classmates, seriously intending to have a good party.Unfortunately, none of them responded to the invitation.

Gerald’s grandmother, Amelia, was very angry because of the neglect of her grandson’s classmates who did not come to celebrate his ninth birthday.

Gerald has developmental problems because he has already had several brain surgeries. Since Gerald is somewhat behind

his peers intellectually, neither the children nor their families have ever fully accepted him.
Gerald’s mother, without waiting for the guests, has already decided to serve the cake.

Gerald did not want a cake he said that he wanted to wait until his friends came. He didn’t want to celebrate

his birthday without friends. It seemed to him that at least one person must eventually appear.

In the end, not classmates appeared, but relatives, so the birthday was celebrated – with grief in half.

A couple of days later, Amelia went online and wrote about her sad birthday on her Facebook page.

In her message, she also mentioned the excuses that the parents of other children came up with in order not to let them go to Gerald’s birthday.

Some of them openly stated that they do not want their child to communicate with such a special boy.

Therefore, Gerald had no friends, no gifts, no cards at his birthday party. At the end of the message,

the grandmother asked the readers to send Gerald more postcards in her name, so that she could personally hand them to him.

During an interview with CBS Chicago, Amelia almost burst into tears, remembering how her grandson wanted at least someone to come to his birthday.

Amelia’s post on Facebook was shared more than 2,500 times, and the result was not long in coming.

Many gifts were sent from all over the world, even one came from Vietnam.Gerald was very happy so many gifts and cards still managed to brighten up the failed birthday.
