Popularly known as the ‘Mayor of Davis County,’ Ty walks around his county every day and greets people.

Such a walk may seem difficult. So a group of guys from Davis High School got together and bought

Ty a scooter for his 25th birthday. Many members of their community came to watch him receive the gift. Taya was filled with joy!

Even though Ty has no official position, he is commonly referred to as the ‘Mayor of Davis County’.

Every day he walks the streets, greets everyone he sees, and helps where he can. He almost never takes a day off.

Even on the hottest or rainiest days, Tai still walks, looks, visits his neighbors and explores the area.

Tai has special needs. Of course he doesn’t have a car. In addition, his family is not rich, so he does not even have a bicycle.

While Tai doesn’t mind walking, it takes a long time considering the distances he often travels.

Tai is a local celebrity, which is why many people know and love him. His fan base includes teenagers from the local Davis High School.

They see him every day, so they come together to decide how they can help their friend. They knew that he would soon be 25 years old and decided that this was a great opportunity.

One boy summed it up by saying, ‘You know, it’s just that all of us put together only raised $10. It’s not much, but Ty… we just love him.’
