In this video greeting, Jamie Foxx expresses his affection for Deidra Dixon, his younger sister.

The Oscar winner posted a series of pictures of himself and his sister Deidra on Instagram on Tuesday.

One of them featured Foxx hugging his sister around the shoulders and beaming brightly in a sweet flashback image.

‘Happy birthday to my adorable younger sister @frequency11 ‘D’… On Twitter, Foxx thanked the lionesses and said,

‘You are magical. You are gorgeous. You ladies are the strong lionesses. And if it weren’t for you, I wouldn’t be here.

The actor said, ‘I would have lost my life if you had not made the decisions that you did. Happy birthday, sister, and know that you have my undying love.

This is Foxx’s first Instagram post since he went public on July 22 to reassure followers that he is recovering after

being admitted to the hospital in April for an unidentified medical condition. For an unidentified medical condition, Foxx was hospitalized in April.

The 55-year-old actor recently posted a three-minute video in which he directly faces the camera and

thanks the audience for their support ever since his health scare. He adds some more details on the terrible incident.

He spoke with the group, ‘I went through something that I believed I would never, ever go through.

To be honest with you, I just didn’t want you to see me like that man, he admitted to me. ‘I know that a lot of people were waiting or wanting to hear updates,

but to be honest with you, I just didn’t want you to see me like that man,’ he said. ‘I’m aware that many people were hoping for or waiting for updates,’

‘I want you to see me making jokes, enjoying myself at gatherings, cracking jokes, appearing in motion pictures or television shows,

and laughing uncontrollably. I didn’t want you to see me pondering my chances of survival while I was being suctioned of tubes.

He didn’t elaborate on what happened, but he did remark that his daughter Corinne and sister Deidra ‘saved my life.’

He addressed the crowd and stated, ‘To them, to God, and to a lot of great medical people, I’m able to leave you this video.’

‘I cannot express to you how fantastic it is to have your family step up in such a way, and you are all aware that they kept it completely airtight.

I can’t even express how wonderful it feels. Nothing was allowed to get away. They protected me, and in situations like these, I wish everyone else could have it as well.

The Day Shift actor also took care to debunk a few misconceptions about his health that he has heard, making it clear that he is not ‘blind’ or ‘paralyzed.’

The path to rehabilitation also had some bumps in it, he admitted, adding, ‘I went to hell and back.’ ‘I took every step I could to improve.’ But I’ll be able to work when I return.
