The eight-year spouse of Sandra referred to him as ‘a saint,’ ‘the love of my life,’ and ‘soulmate.’ But for whatever reason, they never got married.

After spending so many years together, the actress now breaks her silence following his untimely death and explains why they chose not to be married.

Bryan Randall, Sandra’s partner, died at the age of 57. For three years, he struggled with ALS, a condition that destroys the nerve cells in the brain and spinal cord.

There is currently no known treatment for it. Bryan Randall passed away peacefully on August 5th, his family announced, ‘It is with great grief that we inform you of this fact.’

Bryan made the decision to keep his ALS journey a secret. We tried our best to respect that as his caregivers.

Since Bryan’s death, there has been a lot of funding for ALS research, which the actress is appreciative of.

Bullock is ‘grateful to everybody who have donated and is pleased that something so great for others came out of something so painful.

She was grateful for everyone who had been ‘on this journey with her and Bryan from the beginning.’

Bryan has always received a lot of love from Sandra. She referred to him as the ‘love of my life’ in 2021 while he suffered with the illness in private.

Bryan truly was her ‘soulmate.’ She characterized him as ‘very patient,’ ‘a saint,’ and ‘evolved on a level that is not human” in a different interview.

During a segment of Red Table Talk with Jada Pinkett Smith, the actress talked about her choice.

Sandra acknowledged that they were not married and that Sandra did not feel the need to provide ‘a piece of paper’ to prove their love.

I don’t want to suggest do things the way I do it, but I don’t need a paper to be a committed mother and partner, she says.

I don’t need to be reminded to be here at the most trying circumstances. I don’t need to be reminded to stick by a good man during a storm.
