Nicole Kidman appears to have a flawless existence now, but it was not always so. Her first major acting job was in the Australian drama ‘Vietnam.’

She obtained another job in ‘Dead Calm’ two years later and caught the attention of many people, including Tom Cruise.

At the age of 23, Kidman married the famed actor who had just gone through his first divorce with Mimi Rogers and became commonly known as Mrs. Tom Cruise.

The actress had always wanted to have children, but her ectopic pregnancy at the outset of her marriage devastated her.

She also miscarried near the end of her marriage to the actor and discovered she couldn’t have children.

Nevertheless, Kidman kept up her, in her opinion, ideal marriage to Tom. During her first marriage, her career also began to take off,

beginning with ‘To Die For” and ‘The Portrait of a Lady.’ Shortly after, she was cast in ‘Eyes Wide Shut,’ where she co-starred with her then-husband.

With Tom, their adopted children Connor and Isabella Cruise, and Kidman, she continued to live a happy life, but the bliss would soon end.

Tom requested a divorce shortly after their 10th wedding anniversary, claiming challenges at his place of employment.

Kidman felt devasted. The actress carried her pain from their 2001 divorce until she met and wed Keith Urban. She continued to credit him for her recovery.

Kidman will commemorate her 17th wedding anniversary with Urban on June 25, 2023. After a difficult divorce from Tom,

Urban has been Kidman’s guiding light. The affectionate remarks the Australian actress has made about her marriage are evidence of their devotion to one another.

Tom and Kidman’s divorce was difficult on her. She said to DUJOUR: ‘I had an extremely difficult time recovering. My body was shocked by it.

She nevertheless immersed herself in her work and kept garnering praise for her superb performances.

Around this time, Kidman starred in ‘The Hours’ as the suicidal Virginia Woolf. For her outstanding performance,

she was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Actress and a Golden Globe for Best Actress in a Motion Picture Drama. Despite her triumph, Kidman felt like something was lacking.

‘I understood I didn’t want to be alone myself. She said to DUJOUR, ‘I wanted to fall in love again, but I wasn’t sure I could.

She first met artist Urban in 2005 at an Australian event in Los Angeles, and the two fell in love right away.

However, the vocalist didn’t get back to me right away. After Kidman and Urban were married in June 2006, the actress received a wonderful surprise.

They welcomed their daughter, Sunday Rose, into the world in July 2008 when she became pregnant at the age of 40.

‘Having a child took me so long. I’m incredibly grateful. I have healed a great deal since Sunday,’she stated following the birth.

In other parts of her conversation with DUJOUR, Kidman described the procedure and experience she underwent to become pregnant.

‘Having my child has been therapeutic. I struggled for so long to conceive. I’m incredibly grateful.

Sunday did a tremendous lot of healing for me. It’s really personal, but she just has,’ said Kidman.

The beginning of Kidman’s relationship with Urban has been discussed in glowing terms. She said the following in an interview with Vanity Fair about it:

We managed to go for a very long time without anyone finding out about us because we kept very, very quiet about it—which is still pretty much how we roll.

Before they made their first public appearance together at the 2006 Grammy Awards, the couple had secretly become engaged.

Before introducing Urban to her adopted children with Tom, Bella and Connor, she also waited for Urban to pop the question.

I’ve gained a ton of knowledge via my friendship with a recovering person. I’m more than happy to accompany him on the journey.

Our relationship is really important to the two of us, she added to Vanity Fair. ‘We managed to step through a very, very, very unpleasant,

painful spot…That’s all there is to say. Anything extra would be excessive and superfluous at this time.

And because I feel like it kind of jinxes everything, I don’t continue to talk about how much I adore this man.

When asked what she thought first drew Urban and her together, Kidman responded that she thought it was because they were ‘two lonely people.’

‘I’d probably say that two incredibly lonely people met at a moment when they could be vulnerable with one another. We were both scared and brave at the same time, she said.

Since then, the couple has become a mainstay in Hollywood and is regarded as one of the most durable and admirable power couples in the business.

Even after saying ‘I do’ for the first time 17 years ago, Kidman and Urban’s love is still growing.

On June 25, 2023, the mother of four posted a black and white photo of them hugging with their faces close together on Instagram to mark their long marriage.

She wrote the beautiful remark, ‘Happy Anniversary my Love,’ on the picture. Fans swiftly liked and commented on the picture, wishing the couple a wonderful time together.

‘Two very fortunate individuals to have met each other. On the media personality’s page, a supporter said, ‘You are adored by so many. Another follower said, ‘So glad you two found each other..’

A third admirer hoped they would remain together indefinitely. Happy anniversary, ‘little love birds,’ they said, ‘wishing you a lifetime of love and happiness.’

A few days before their wedding, Kidman posted an Instagram picture of her husband and one of their children riding a miniature bike in honor of Father’s Day on June 18, 2023.

‘To the coolest father there is, happy Father’s Day! We all adore you very much! You’re girls,’she wrote as the caption on the photo.

Many of the musician’s family’s supporters also sent him Happy Father’s Day wishes, and some even expressed their love for him. One more admirer thought he was cool.

Just don’t tell, but my dad is def the coolest. They wrote, ‘John.

The ‘Moulin Rouge’ actress believes she leads a happy existence. When asked if her life now included everything, she responded:

‘Oh, absolutely! It’s also my life. I used to be trying to escape life. I now accept it. Your remaining time is always uncertain. I therefore value every moment.
