Kevin Costner, 68, makes a heartbreaking two-word confession following a child support divorce battle — and everyone is saying the same thing.

The actor Kevin Costner may have prevailed in his protracted legal battle with his ex-wife Christine Baumgartner over child support, but he isn’t relishing the victory.

Since Baumgartner filed for divorce in May, citing irreconcilable differences, their back-and-forth argument has been a regular in the media.

Baumgartner sought to obtain hundreds of thousands of dollars in monthly child support payments after moving out of the family

home in accordance with the terms of a prenuptial agreement, even though Costner was willing to give her much less.

According to reports, Baumgartner demanded her famous husband pay her $161,000 in child support. The 68-year-old Costner,

who is rumored to be worth $400 million, thought that $63,000 per month was a reasonable amount to provide for his children.

A judge has now decided that Baumgartner will be entitled to less than half of that moving ahead, backing with

Costner’s requested $63,000 per month, after first ordering the actor to pay an eye-watering $129,000 per month.

After a two-day court session in which Costner and his wife both presented their cases regarding the obligation to pay child support, the announcement was made.

Despite the fact that Costner ultimately got his way, the well-known actor took the time to talk to the media

during a lunch break at the courthouse in Santa Barbara, California, and admitted that he “feels so bad’.

Costner added, ‘This is a terrible place to be, but this is where we are. ‘It hurts so much. We’re discussing a person on the other side that I love. I simply can’t.

Then, in response to a question from a reporter about if he ‘still has love’ for Baumgartner, Costner said, ‘Of course.’

In a separate interview with Fox News Digital, the Waterworld actor described the agony of having to deal with a contentious legal dispute immediately after his wife filed for divorce.

‘You know, there is no winner when you share a life with someone for that long… Costner admitted, ‘and it’s this vast, chaotic thing called life and how everything falls apart so rapidly.

‘You feel on top of the world for a moment, and then you realize how, you know, vulnerable you are.’ Fans were moved by Costner’s statements, and many of them identified with his predicament.

Well, it’s about time she teaches her children to be grateful for their already affluent life and that nothing comes

for free, one user commented on Twitter. Seriously, only her luxury is being denied to Kevin’s other children. Kevin’s team.

‘I raised two kids with no child support,’ said another. Allow me to assist Ms. Baumgertner. You attend a college.

You leave for work every morning after waking up. You make a food plan and use a list to shop. You establish a budget. And you regularly use the word ‘no.’

‘IDK why, but I’m weirdly ecstatic for his win,’ said a third. Such a self-centered, lazy woman. Instead than

depending on someone else to provide for you, get a job and teach your kids how to be self-sufficient. ‘TEAM KEVIN!’

A fourth person who spoke about Baumgartner stated, ‘Imagine crying in court because you don’t know how to live off $720k a year for not working.’

According to sources, a subsequent hearing is scheduled for November.

I feel so bad for Christine Baumgartner and Kevin Costner. Divorces are never simple processes to go through,

and one can only hope that ultimately, the couple will be able to put their disagreements behind them and go on to better futures.
