It is now widely known that the Presley family has gone through a lot of grief and suffering over the past few years,
starting with the tragic suicide of Lisa Marie Presley in January of this year and ending with the abrupt death of her son in 2020.
Priscilla Presley has undoubtedly felt a great deal of pain since any parent would be saddened by the loss of a child.
The late Elvis Presley’s ex-wife has generally avoided the public eye ever since.
But this week, Priscilla was spotted at the Priscilla premiere at the 80th International Film Festival in Venice,
Italy, marking her first public red carpet appearance since Lisa Marie’s loss.
Priscilla, starring American actress Cailee Spaeny and Australian actor Jacob Elordi, is based on Priscilla’s love affair with Elvis,
which she first detailed in a memoir titled Elvis and Me in 1985. In late October, the film—which is based on a revised version of the biography—will be released in theaters.

Many of Priscilla’s admirers voiced concern over her looks, with the majority of them making remarks about how depressed and reclusive she appeared.
Priscilla was described as looking “ghostly” and ‘ghastly’ by one person, while another said that although she used to be a lovely beauty,
she now looked ‘freakish’ although, at almost 80 years old, I’d think Priscilla looks wonderful.
Commentary from her followers follows the actress’s disclosure of her romance with Elvis, which started in 1959 when she
was 14 and he was 24. In 1967, they got hitched in Las Vegas, but by 1973, they were divorced. Priscilla gave birth to Lisa Marie, her only daughter, during their brief marriage.

Priscilla had always kept her relationship with Elvis very private, but it’s anticipated that the Priscilla movie will give viewers a closer look at how they interacted.
In fact, the New York City-born celebrity admitted on the red carpet event for Priscilla that her parents found it difficult to comprehend why Elvis would be interested in a relationship with her.
The Hollywood Reporter claims that Priscilla stated that she and Elvis did not engage in sexual activity when they first met because Elvis respected the fact that she was 14 years old.
Instead, she claimed, they spent hours having in-depth conversations, with the ‘Hound Dog’ singer telling his future wife about his hopes,
concerns, and anguish at losing his mother the previous year (something he allegedly never really overcame).

The grandmother of four continued by saying that seeing Priscilla had been ‘difficult’ for her. She acknowledged that it was challenging to watch a movie about her life, her love, and herself.
However, Sofia [Coppola] did a fantastic job. Her schoolwork was completed. And I did everything I could to support her.
Perhaps the fans who are criticizing her appearance should take into account her previous struggles. Loss is never simple, and dealing with it in the spotlight just makes it worse.
