Many people say that doing the laundry is their least favorite activity. Sometimes we wish that our clothes would magically
become clean so that we wouldn’t have to cope with the growing pile of laundry. Really, our only option is to wash our soiled and sweaty clothes right away.
According to fashion designer Christie Moeller, who is known online as @christiemoeller, we may actually have a choice.
To prevent offensive odors in clothing so that you can wear them without cleaning them every time, the stylist has offered a straightforward yet effective tip.

The traditional advice from Moeller is to combine some water and vodka in a spray bottle to keep garments fresh between uses.
She illustrates how she does it expertly in her popular video titled, ‘How to keep clothes smelling fresh without washing them,’
and she encourages others to follow her lead. She begins her video by stating that it is not necessary
to wash your clothes after every use because doing so results in the material’s quality being compromised earlier than anticipated.
Did you realize that not washing your garments after every use will really extend their lifespan? Additionally,
you can wear items that are only meant for dry cleaning three to four times before they need to be dry cleaned, according to her video.
‘On set, performers occasionally have to wear the same outfits for several days in a row without having
time to wash them in between. All you need is vodka and water to keep your garments fresh, according to stylists.

In order to demonstrate to her audience how it’s done, Moeller continues to pull up a sequined blazer, a spray bottle, and some vodka.
‘Pour one part vodka and one part water into a spray bottle. Then, while mixing the mixture, give the inside of the clothing a small spritz, she explains.
Then, while it is still hanging on the hanger, she takes the golden blazer and sprays the inside. She continues,
‘Any of those microorganisms that cause odors will be killed by the vodka. And no, you won’t smell like alcohol. Just a fresh, clean outfit.

The simplicity of this procedure, which allows you to get rid of odors from clothes without washing them, astounded TikTok watchers.
The popular video has had over 6 lakh views to date, and many viewers have shared their own experiences with the hack in the comments section.
‘Amazon sells antibacterial fabric spray by Detol that smells fantastic and will actually kill the bacteria that make your clothes smell,’ said @gaypaniccosplay. And much cheaper.
The alternate option is truly helpful if someone is unable to spend a lot of money on a single bottle of vodka simply to spray it on their clothes.
As @insectcore stated, ‘I do this in the costume department, but I use 70% isopropyl alcohol.’ Yes,
I’ve been using this method for years. You may use it as a room or bathroom deodorant by adding a few drops of lavender or peppermint oil.
