When we hear the phrase ‘play ball,’ we often have fond memories of baseball, which is one of America’s favorite sports.

Yogi Berra and other legends. However, he has nothing on this young Nebraskan girl. She could be destined

for the majors. Perhaps it was just a stroke of luck. In either case, the occasion is wonderful.

Mom and dad are relaxing on the couch after attempting to keep their two young daughters entertained on a regular afternoon in the little

town of Alliance, Nebraska. Mom is playing carelessly with a strand of her hair and appears to be waiting for Dad to hang up the phone.

When their oldest daughter kicks a pink ball into the air, the other girls are herded into the living room.

When the ball lands precisely into her palms at that precise moment, the younger sister in her footie pajamas ruffles her hair.

Dad is astonished and attempts to gain his wife’s attention, so it’s quite the catch. He was in awe at what he had just witnessed. He is so shocked that his jaw drops open.

The older sister chuckles, takes the ball from the younger sister, and kicks it around the room as if

nothing happened. Since she is the older sister, anything cool that occurs is likely due to her involvement.

Dad must be grateful for this unplanned opportunity. He probably imagined that becoming a dad would involve pink toys, ballet,

and dance. But it appears that both of his young daughters enjoy sports. While the youngest can catch, his oldest can kick.

Who knows, he might end up playing softball or soccer. This father is tremendously fortunate to have two

lively, amusing, and content young kids. We sincerely hope you liked today’s unusual and unanticipated catch!
