into the world in 2018. Her port wine stain in the shape of a heart elegantly complemented her unique features.

Despite the love and support she received from her family due to her birthmark, not everyone valued Angelica’s unique mark.

Angelica’s mother noted that while her daughter was warmly accepted by her family, they also had to deal with cruel comments about her appearance from strangers.

One person even went as far as to say that Angelica’s face looked like a grill, which ranks among the most offensive internet remarks Marianna Bowering,

Angelica’s mother, has ever read. Marianna recalled how her daughter had occasionally been called ‘unattractive’ and ‘flaw.’

The family suffered as a result of these nasty comments, which exacerbated their problems, but they remained adamant about overcoming them.

Despite the degrading remarks, Angelica’s family insisted that she should accept herself just as she was.

Marianna began drawing a heart-shaped birthmark on Angelica’s face to help her feel better about herself.

She was motivated by Vascular Birthmark Awareness Day, when participants were urged to draw hearts on their cheeks. She eventually made the decision to imitate Angelica’s port wine stain.

Marianna’s worries were only exacerbated whenever someone tried to reassure her by saying that Angelica’s

mark would ultimately disappear or that she could cover it up with makeup when she grew older. She couldn’t help but wonder

if her daughter would be encouraged to hide rather than appreciate her inherent beauty, highlighting the demands placed on people by society.

Angelica’s loved ones helped her accept her individuality. Marianne is occasionally adorned with glitter to draw

attention to the flaws in her port wine. Mariana stated, referring to the potential health issues with such birthmarks in youngsters,

‘Thank goodness, we did testing, and Angelica is absolutely healthy. ‘We simply need to make sure we examine it frequently,
