Prateek Kumar was on his usual commuter day when the train stopped at Bagaha railway station in West Champaran,
India, and he hopped off to buy biscuits and a refreshing beverage before continuing on to New Delhi.
But as the train started to depart without him, he hurried to board and hid beneath the rolling coaches.

Video captures authorities gazing in dread as they wait for the train to pass. Onlookers claim that
clever Prateek survived by lying down between the front track and the brick wall of the platform.
A local claimed, ‘He was cautious in his movements and remained still, waiting for the train to pass.’
RPF officer Harishchandra Yadav assisted the victim by crawling down on the track and lifting him up after the train had passed.

In this incident, Prateek Kumar received minor wounds and had some of his clothing torn.
