Mom is unpacking her belongings in her new home until her dog starts barking at something behind the wall. See what they found…

People should look around every corner when looking for their future homes because there can be stray intruders lurking nearby.

This is precisely what occurred to a woman who discovered a startling discovery in her new home a month after the purchase was finalized: there were snakes hidden inside the walls.

A woman named Amber Hall was thrilled to see a four-bedroom, two-bathroom home since she thought it was the best option,

according to a KOAA News5 article from May 2023. With her two children and their pets, she already made plans and imagined a new chapter in her life.

Hall was trying to unpack one day after moving in when one of her dogs started ambling over to a door close to

the rear wall of her garage. She later looked into what was there because at first she just assumed it was a spider.

She looked closer and discovered two holes where ‘shockingly large’ snakes were coiling up very near to the door.

‘Right here, there were two tiny holes, and I watched snakes climb the wall. So I became anxious,’ she added.

The woman thought there must be more since she felt a warm sensation on the wall above the crawling monsters.

Ten days after Hall discovered the first one, a total of 10 snakes had already surfaced, proving that her intuition was accurate.

Everyone agrees, based on the evidence, that they are a type of garter snake. The caveat, though, is that no one has ever seen their garter snake so large, she told Denver7.

since of the incident, Hall was unable to finish unpacking since she was afraid to discover more snakes in the house.

She added, ‘I can’t unpack any of my belongings because I’m sure there are snakes in the boxes or under the boxes.

Since then, the woman has employed a snake handler who has assisted in getting the reptiles out of her

new house. She stated that none of them were killed, even though they had already left the premises.

The snake wrangler estimated that based on their size, the snakes had been in the home for two years.

When asked if she believed she had discovered the animals first, Hall replied, ‘I don’t feel like I have, but I don’t think that anyone would ever say that they knew they were there.’

‘It’s hard. This is my first home, and I’m 42 years old. I’ve worked for it my entire life, but I’m unable to enjoy it.

My children will enjoy it. I’m very terrified,’ she admitted to the outlet.

She was not only terrified of the snakes, but it also had a negative financial impact because it had already cost her $1,000 to get rid of the snakes.

Denver7 was able to get in touch with the real estate agency that assisted the woman in getting her first house.

According to a spokeswoman, they would have told her about the snakes if they had seen them before.

Additionally, they informed the public that this was the first time they had heard of a snake infestation at any of the homes they had previously sold.
