One of Hollywood’s greatest guys, actor Keanu Reeves is also one of its friendliest people. Reeves is known for being incredibly compassionate,

but he is also a true action star with a body of work that speaks for itself. The ‘John Wick’ and ‘The Matrix’series,

as well as many other movies in other genres such romantic comedies, dramas, and thrillers, are some of his best-known works.

Reeves is a well-known actor, yet his artistic expression extends beyond acting in motion pictures.

He is a director as well as a musician. When Reeves played a little role in the Canadian sitcom ‘Hangin’ In,’ his acting career took off.

He later appeared in a number of movies, including ‘Brotherhood of Justice’ ‘River’s Edge,’ ‘The Prince of Pennsylvania,’ and “Permanent Record,’ to name a few.

But it wasn’t until 1989 that he received his breakthrough role in ‘Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure” before playing the same part again in the 1991 follow-up, “Bill & Ted’s Bogus Journey.’

Reeves had a passion for music after making strides as an actor and founded the band Dogstar to launch his musical career.

Four people, including Reeves, Robert Mailhouse, Gregg Miller, and Bret Domrose, formed the alternative rock group Dogstar.

The group set out on a lengthy tour of the US and Asia in 1995, opening for David Bowie at his performance at the Hollywood Palladium.

After Miller eventually left the group at the conclusion of their tour, the surviving three members recorded and released ‘Our Little Visionary’ as their debut album in 1996.

A second album called ‘Happy Ending’ came after that, and the band disbanded. Two decades after they split up, in 2022, the band made an Instagram announcement about their reunion.

They played in front of an audience for the first time in nearly ten years at the BottleRock Napa Valley music festival,

just a year after the announcement. It was followed by the publication of their single ‘Everything Turns Around,’

the start of their North American and Japanese tour, and the release of their third album, ‘Somewhere Between the Power Lines and Palm Trees.’

Reeves and the rest of the Dogstar band were in Houston, Texas, on September 25, 2023, for their performance at the House of Blues.

The ‘The Matrix’ actor took the opportunity to meet his eager fans before the performance. While it was

a beautiful moment for all of his admirers, 9-year-old Elijah found it to be exceptionally magical.
