An amazing 86-year-old man decided to create a job for himself in order to support children!

This will serve as a reminder that developing new talents may be done at any stage of life. Three hundred hats have been made by Ed Mosley, a resident of a nursing facility in Georgia,

for premature children undergoing life-saving care at an Atlanta hospital. The infants are staying warm and comfortable thanks to these hats.

What’s even more astounding is that Ed had to teach himself how to survive in order to be prepared to produce their Christmas hats.

‘I asked my daughter to get a set for me, and when she came back with it, it included a loom in the right size along with all the tools you need to knit a hat,’ said Mosley.

I only followed the rules as they were given to me. It wasn’t at all difficult. I’d never knit before since I always associated it with needles,

but it looked like something I could learn to do. ‘I had to give it a couple of tries before I was satisfied with the final product.’

He had sewn 55 beautiful baby hats by the time he realized it. What was it that made him act in this manner? the challenge.

Ed, a former engineer, was more than up to the task set before him by his caregivers and made as many hats as he could for locals in the neighborhood where he now resides.

Ed began creating classes and working on projects to motivate the citizens of his town, and he delighted in every stitch and seam he made.

Over 300 crocheted caps were made for the infants receiving care at the hospital with the help of the therapists, staff, family members, and roommates.

The new parents’ joy was too much to conceal.

‘It’s quite significant for us since this is our second kid in the NICU,’ said Doug Bunt, whose newborn son Matthew was delivered on November 12th. On the 12th of November, Matthew was born.

‘Our child, who is now 5 years old, was in the neonatal critical care unit for 54 days. Knowing that there are people besides us

who are worried about the well-being and security of the infants, who are also our babies, is comforting.

The fact that this person makes the decision to spend his day helping these children away from his family is quite significant.

Ed discovered that crocheting hats was a relaxing hobby. It provides him something to do when he’s not playing golf or watching golf on television, which is his second favorite pastime.

When someone praises your work, Ed explained, ‘it makes you feel good about what you’re doing.’ I’m having so much

fun doing this that I’ve worked my way up to wearing bigger caps, she remarked. The grandma explained, ‘I sew caps for my grandchildren.
